President's Message

My father, Late Shri Punjaji Patil Sapkal, was one of the most active and dedicated freedom fighters of the ‘Marathwada Mukti Sangram’. I grew up watching him struggle for the emancipation of oppressed farmers under the Razakar’s regime. His wisdom, dedication and highly inspirational personality became source of inspiration for many and how. He always professed the need and benefits of education, higher education to be precise, for the development of our society. It was his vision which I think was passed on to me and the members of Dhareshwar Shikshan Sanstha and we passed unanimous resolution to ignite the guiding torch in the form of a higher education institute. Late Shri Punjaji Patil Sapkal gave us inspiration as a seed, we nurtured sapling of the same and what we see now in the form this institute is a growing tree. We have been facing innumerous problems in this unending journey of availing easily accessible yet sustainable education. Insufficient funds, remote location of college, reluctance of teachers to join us are few of the major problems that we face every day. Yet, Dhareshwar Shikshan Sanstha is firm and determined to reach to its goal.
